Made with Love for You & the Planet |
Wick of Hope was founded by Andy and Selvia in London, Ontario, Canada, with a mission to create candles that are as safe and mindful as they are beautiful. Our journey began with a personal challenge: Andyās sensitivity to traditional candles made from paraffin wax and overpowering fragrances, which triggered headaches and asthma. Determined to find a better solution, we set out to craft candles that would be healthier for both people and the planet.
First Burn Guidance: For the best experience, burn your candle until the wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the container to prevent tunneling. This may take up to 2-4 hours, depending on the size of the candle.
Wick Maintenance: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn, using a wick trimmer or scissors. This ensures a cleaner, safer burn and prolongs the life of your candle.
Materials Used: Our candles are crafted from eco-friendly coconut soy wax, infused with premium phthalate-free fragrances, and feature lead-free cotton wicks and FSC certified wooden wicks for a clean, sustainable burn.
Sustainability Commitment: Absolutely! We use 100% vegan and cruelty-free materials, from our coconut soy wax to our recyclable packaging. Our commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of our business, including supporting environmental initiatives with every purchase.
Natural Wax Texture: A rough or bumpy surface after burning is typical with natural soy wax, which can cool unevenly. This texture variation does not affect the candle's performance or scent throw.
