If your wooden wick isn’t staying lit, it may be due to excess wax buildup or an improperly trimmed wick. Follow these steps to fix it:

  1. Trim the Wick: Make sure the wick is trimmed to a height of 1/4" to 1/2". Wooden wicks perform best when kept short, and trimming helps maintain a steady flame.
  2. Remove Excess Wax: If the wick is being drowned by wax, carefully remove some wax from around the wick using a small spoon or butter knife. This allows the wick to receive enough oxygen to stay lit.
  3. Avoid Drafts: Ensure the candle is burning in a draft-free environment. Strong air currents can cause the flame to flicker and go out.

If these methods don’t resolve the issue, please contact us. We want to ensure you have the best experience with your candle and will assist you with a replacement under our guarantee if necessary.

Exchanges: Yes, if you are not satisfied with the scent, you can exchange it for another candle of the same size and price within 30 days of purchase. The product must be in its original, unused condition.

We offer an optional service at checkout to help reduce return and exchange shipping costs. For a small fee, customers can add this service, which provides a 30-day window to initiate returns or exchanges. Once added, a return label is automatically generated at no additional cost, saving customers an average of $10 to $25 in shipping fees. If the service isn't selected, customers are responsible for obtaining and covering the cost of their own return label, in line with our return policies.

Yes, all of our products are cruelty-free. We source our fragrances from suppliers who do not test on animals, and both our wax blend and wicks are cruelty-free. Additionally, our jars are provided by reputable suppliers who maintain safe working conditions.

Yes, our candles are designed with safety in mind. We use eco-friendly coconut soy wax and fragrance oils free of parabens and phthalates, specifically formulated for safe use in candles. These provide a clean and subtle scent that many of our customers with pets, such as cats and dogs, appreciate.

We do not use essential oils at this time, as some can be harmful to pets when burned. Our candles feature FSC-certified wooden wicks, ensuring a clean, even burn without releasing harmful toxins. While our candles are pet-friendly, we always recommend burning them in well-ventilated areas and keeping them out of reach of curious pets.

First Burn Guidance: For the best experience, burn your candle until the wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the container to prevent tunneling. This may take up to 2-4 hours, depending on the size of the candle.

Wick Maintenance: Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn, using a wick trimmer or scissors. This ensures a cleaner, safer burn and prolongs the life of your candle.

While our candles don’t contain preservatives, we recommend using them within a year for the best burn quality. Although the candles won’t technically expire, their performance may decrease over time. We guarantee optimal burn quality for up to a year, and the batch code on the label allows us to look up the production date.

Our candles are thoughtfully crafted using eco-friendly coconut soy wax, renowned for its clean and sustainable burn. We use premium fragrance oils that are 100% phthalate-free, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Each candle features fsc-certified wooden wicks, both designed to provide a clean, even burn while prioritizing sustainability and quality.

While we currently don’t use essential oils due to potential safety concerns when burned (especially for pets and sensitive individuals), we do plan to introduce a line of essential oil-only candles in the near future. Stay tuned!

A rough or bumpy surface after burning is typical with natural blend of coconut and soy wax, which can cool unevenly. This texture variation does not affect the candle's performance or scent throw.

Our candles are made with natural ingredients and without chemical stabilizers, so small surface cracks can occur. These are common with soy and other natural waxes that won’t affect the candle’s performance or scent throw.

Factors like scent, shipping, and weather can cause cracking, but it won’t impact the burn. We inspect each candle carefully, and any with deeper imperfections are sold as “imperfect” items at a discount. Surface cracks will disappear after the first burn.

Tunneling Fix: If your candle begins to tunnel, you can rectify it by wrapping a layer of aluminum foil around the top of the candle and cutting a hole in the center to allow it to burn evenly for a few hours.

Sweating Explanation: Soy wax is sensitive to temperature changes, which can cause beads of oil to form on the surface, known as sweating. This is normal and does not affect the burn quality or fragrance of the candle. You can gently wipe the oil off with a tissue.
